I found a mysterious Z-Crystal unlike any I had seen before. When I showed it to my Pokémon Senshi, let’s just say letting Necrozma see that crystal was a mistake. She grabbed it from me and disappeared into the night. I followed her, and found her locked in a battle with Sailor Solgaleo and Lunala on top of a building. All three of them had taken a lot of damage, with blood on their clothes and faces. How long were they fighting? And why was Necrozma acting this way? I begged them to stop, but they wouldn’t listen. I was worried that they would kill each other, or anyone else caught in the blast.

Soon, Solgaleo and Lunala were both laying face down on the rooftop. Necrozma walked up to Lunala and raised her hand toward her. Light flashed from their bodies, and when it faded, Necrozma had merged with Lunala! I was surprised that Necrozma defeated Lunala at night, during a full moon, when she is at her most powerful! She held up the Z-Crystal she stole from me and changed again. She looked intimidating, and very powerful. Her voice echoed as she spoke.

“At last, my light has returned to me! I’ve forgotten how good it feels to be back at full strength again. It’s been so long I’ve lost track.”

I ran over to Solgaleo, who was unconscious but alive. I glared angrily at Necrozma. “Necrozma, what have you done? Explain yourself right now!”

“I assure you, Lunala is fine, as is Solgaleo. That Z-Crystal you found contained the remnants of my power. Queen Malanite saw me as a threat to her, and stole my power and sent it through an Ultra Wormhole. I thank you for finding it. With my strength restored, let’s take the fight to Queen Malanite and finish her once and for all!”

“That’s a bad decision and you know it! Do you think you can strike down her Ultra Beasts, her daughters, and herself all alone? She stole your power once before, what would stop her from doing it again? Going against her like this is suicide. Please let us help you.”

“She needs to pay for what she’s done to me, and no one is going to stop me. Not even you, master.”

I heard enough, and drew my sword. “I’m not going to let you throw your life away like this. You’ve gone mad with power and blind by hate and anger. I will put an end to your madness.”

“You dare draw your sword in my presence? I always respected your courage, master. But it is foolish. Now, show me the strength of your people!”

During the climax of Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon, you visit Ultra Megalopolis, and you get to fight Necrozma after it has reached its full strength, and has its light returned to it. Its aura boosts all its stats, an amazing battle theme plays (wear headphones, trust me), and you get to face a Pokémon whose raw power surpasses that of the Pokémon god Arceus! This is truly the best fight in the series, and definitely one you will remember. What a perfect way to send off the series before being moved to the Nintendo Switch.

Ultra Necrozma gains a new type in this form: Psychic/Dragon. Interestingly, these types were originally considered to be overpowered in earlier generations, and thus new types had to rise to counter them. It all comes together doesn’t it? It also has its base stats jump to 754, putting it just below Mega Mewtwo, and the powered up Weather Trio. You will need a lot of luck and really strong Pokémon to take this thing down. Its ability changes to Neuroforce, which strengthens its super effective attacks by 20%. You can get this form by equipping Necrozma with the Ultranecronium Z, and activating it before you attack. This also allows it to use a very powerful attack afterwards that will certainly leave a dent in your target’s health, assuming it doesn’t one-shot them instead.

Her gun also goes through a change, and is now named Alnitak. It is named after one of the three stars making up Orion’s Belt, and is the brightest O-class star in the night sky. The gun was colored blue because the star is a blue supergiant. Its design is based on the EE-3 Blaster used by Boba Fett. The gun automatically triggers an eclipse (solar or lunar, depending on time of day), which lasts until Necrozma is defeated, and it retains its ability to fire seven shots at once. The eclipse sharply raises all of Necrozma’s stats. With an ability that strengthens super effective moves, a higher stat total than Arceus, and gaining power from an eclipse, this is not someone you want to face when she’s angry. Not unless you want your face blown off.

It’s not just her gun that gets a makeover. Her outfit does too. She isn’t wearing a typical Sailor suit, but instead she’s wearing the top part of the Shimmering Dress (recurring armor from Dragon Quest). It’s a special garb that reflects magic back at the attacker on occasion. I didn’t want it to be ankle length like the dress normally is, so I made it knee length. This way, you can see that she still wears boots. It also has the symbol of her exclusive Z-crystal on the stomach, and the black crystal was also placed in the orb at her chest. Her hair was also lengthened, and made like it was flowing in the wind, and she is holding a giant ball of light, complete with a death glare.

She retains her other moves. However, Photon Geyser changes into:
Light that Burns the Sky: Sailor Necrozma absorbs the light in the area and loads into her gun, then fires it toward her target. The attack is either physical or magical, depending on which stat is higher. It also ignores abilities. It is super effective against Shadow types.
