EDIT 22/01/12: I edited the background, the shading and the lineart to make this look MUCH better. I'm no longer embarrassed about the background, lol. The grass was really lazy but I wasn't in the mood to do grass... Anyway, yep. Gonna study for my exam on Monday now....Anya's might not be looking good, but I hope ~fluffyfuzzball 's will be great! :'D

So yes, it is her birthday today, turning 18 as well! After all the years that she's made me amazing gifts for mine, (as well as spending the rest of the year being a super good friend) I figured I'd put in a lot of effort for hers this year. EXCEPT that I forgot I had to leave for school at 7 am today and thus my plan to wake up early to finalize it fell apart. So in typical Juli style, this isn't actually finished. lolol But I'll make sure to finish it tonight. I think. Or maybe I'll want to show this to her earlier...anyway, I'll figure something out.

I'm reeeeally happy you love it so much! There's the fact I began this ACTUALLY BEFORE THE 17th which helped. I think I started it on the 14th/15th or something. And no, as I write this, it's still not finished, but I'll be sure to finish it on the weekend so you can re-see it. 8P And thanks for the compliments on the anatomy, I've definitely studied the human body a lot since my last human picture. (Hooray for life/gesture drawings!) I love drawing the sternocleidomastoid...because it has such a cool and memorable name. Completely unrelated to its importance in drawing. 
So, yep, I'll tell you when I edit this and then you'll have more reasons to smile :'D
