Okay, lame title, I know. I found these shoes when my art class took a trip to Philly back in April, and I thought they were adorable. I didn't buy any (I bought a pair of polka dot ballet flats instead) but I took a pic and drew them. This is in watercolor pencil.Sorry it's taken me so long to upload anything. Actually, this piece took me awhile to finish cause I'm not used to the watercolor pencils yet. Regardless, enjoy.

i hate water color pencil! i don't understand it haha. it just seems to make my paper wrinkle and bumpy. but this is really good. nice job!

Haha I'm pretty bad with it, and it took me awhile to learn to handle. Colored pencils are much better cause they don't run all over the place when you don't want them to like anything watercolor does. It's always made my paper wrinkly and bumpy too, but I did this piece on some matte board or drawing board or something heavier of that nature, so it didn't get ruined. But I've done stuff on paper too and it wrinkles

I love watercolor pencils and frequently use them to provide detail to work I do on hot press watercolor paper. Very nice!

They work very nicely and are quite predictable. They're just so easy to use because of the sharp points you can get, and the color is easily blended into the airbrush wash I lay down first.
