The Taiwan Scenario applied to Spain
Now this is different: this is a three-way-exiled-goverment-scenario... thingy
The PoD is set during the Spanish civil war: the socialists and communists get the upper hand and win in the mainland (including northern Morocco), while the royalists flee and re-establish the kingdom in the Balearic Islands. The nationalists end up taking control of the Canary islands and the Spanish Sahara.

I've set the PoD further in the past, to let Nationalist Spain play a role in the scenario, it doesn't really have a correspondent from our timeline.

I like this series, you know i actually came up with a similer idea in which the UK government is forced to evacuate to Northern Ireland after fascists take over the isle of Great Britain though i haven't pit the concept into use yet. Great series BTW.

Very interesting! I’d imagine Spanish relations are frosty, to say the least. Are you going to take Taiwan-like scenarios out of Europe eventually? I’ve always wanted to see a really fleshed out America-in-exile in Cuba
