Yeah, I'm really missing Jacob. :\ And with the news I received this morning, I'm rather disappointed. He probably won't be back in time for Christmas. *sighs*Flasia ©

Wow.... That's simply beautiful! o.o And I mean gorgeous! You definitely captured the lighting of the scenery perfectly, bathing everything within the image with a warm saffron, and the shadows of the grass almost seem like they were a tiring task, lighting up several stray blades in the light of the sunset. The sky possesses such a rich tone, and seems to emphasise the character's feelings as the colour of the orange/crimson "bleeds" into the heavens, and the sun, compounded with its ripply, abstract glow and the angle and balanced intensity of the lens flare as it branches off into two direction is so... dynamic! It really empowers the beauty and melancholy of the picture, somehow turning a flamboyant compilation of colour and the scenery into something painfully bittersweet. You even captured the darkness of the ocean correctly! It really has that deep, abysmal feel that it adopts in a sunset, fading into the darkest hues of blue and black. And Flasia was so really well drawn, both emotion-wise and her appearance... The angle has that nice, ever so slight tint that gives it dimension, and you executed the shading beautifully. 
It's just so... bittersweet and beautiful. ;___; I can really feel your emotions just deluging in this picture, and I offer my utmost sympathies that he won't be able to spend the Christmas with you.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I have a brighter version of this picture that I uploaded, but I was told it was not...like a sunset. So I darkened it and switched it.
And yeah... *sighs* I don't know when he'll be back. But I really miss him. I really, really do.

Jacob was supposed to be back by the day after Christmas, if not Christmas itself. But his mom wants to take them to "see different places", even though they already have when they've traveled the country due to moving. :\ I honestly believe she's trying to keep us apart.

He plans on asking me to marry him through a speech. He said he's gonna shoot for valedictorian, and if he gets it; he's gonna send his speech to the principals to get their approval. If it is approved, then he will say his speech...with these lines included, "This is dedicated to my love of my life, Alicia Wild. Will you marry me?"

Yep. You have hit the nail on the head. That was my theory. That his mom knew that if the two of you were energetic about seeing each other at Christmas, and she hates you, then, for reasons unknown, she feels that she should be the only person truly close to him, when in truth it is the Somebody that they are dating. However, I would not know that because, as you can read in my story "The Most Dangerous Arena", I have no heart. Ergo, I am a Nobody.
