Personality: 
Aspen comes off as a very serious and reserved individual. Being the eldest son and being the one to take in his father's place at a young age, he created this mindset of needing to be the most responsible in order to protect those important to him. However, the pressure and the responsibilities he thrown himself into caused him to be well, quite uptight over many things. Over-protective and a narrow outlook of the outside world, he easily gets anxious over the smallest potential dangers that could harm others. He has difficulty trusting strangers, always on his guard and jumping to conclusions. It is no surprise this high-strung Luxray has a small temper, but he is disciplined enough to control it most of the time. He is at least have manners and gives respect where it is deserved. Aspen can be very loyal to those he trust and will rush to protect when a innocent life is threatened. He is also a skilled archer and likes to be organized. Aspen can sound rude at first but he is not a bad guy, just a cat who been really hard on himself...          

History:

There was a small town near the mountains that had walls protecting it's citizens. It was a odd town, having only felines and canines living inside. The town was also very afraid of strangers and don't allow any other kinds enter their home unless for trade.

On a cold December morning, a Purugly and Luxray had their first child, which they named Aspen. As the young Shinx grew, his father took him under his wing and taught him the basics of being a hunter. His father was encouraging and supportive to his cub, guiding him on the path to be just as noble and respected as him. Eventually Aspen wasn't the only child as another brother was born and soon enough two more! He was thrilled to have so many brothers to play with and they all look up to their big brother. Determined to be just like his father, Aspen practiced with his father on his archery and listened carefully to any lessons he gives.

He was 14 years old when news spread about a injured group of merchants being found in the forest. They were taken in the town despite much concern, but some insisted to help them, one of them being Aspen's father. While they were being treated in the hospital, it was discovered they weren't hurt at all. It was a trap! The group of raiders attacked, causing a huge fight, luckily there was guards and hunters to fight back and protect the medics. But it was used as a distraction as outside raiders sneaked in while the town was at it's most vulnerable. It was a horrifying night, with items stolen, lives taken, and destruction. Fortunately, the intruders were fought back enough to retreat and the town was saved from total ruin. However, there was still loss as one of the fallen was Aspen's father, who fought bravely to protect his family and home. Aspen was furious and distraught, losing his father because of a small group wanting to hurt and steal from the peaceful town. Being the oldest son, he decided it was time to grow up, take his father's place and be there for his family. He trained hard and looked after his younger brothers while his mother went back to work in the hospital. He got himself a job as a hunter and was always keeping himself busy.

Many years later, Aspen and his brothers went out to the forest together for a fun hike and hunt. When they arrived to the end of a river for a drink, they found a unconscious female Dragonair with a head injury. Worried for the young lady, the brothers suggested they take her home to be patched up. Aspen was hesitant and disagreed with the idea, but eventually his brothers convinced him. It was difficult getting the gate's guards to let them through, but they promised they will release her once she recovered. When she did awoke, she couldn't remember anything but small fragments and her name, Clementia. How can they let this girl with amnesia walk out alone?

Left with a difficult choice, Aspen's family have to figure out what to do with the distressed dragon. He didn't trust her at all. She was an outsider. A potential threat. However, his mother took charge and decided to adopt her to the family. The town wasn't happy at all about the decision and so was Aspen. While his brothers were accepting to their new sister, he ignored or was cold towards her. Despite her efforts in getting closer to him, he pushed her away. On the anniversary of the attack and his father's death, Clem tried again with her attempts, but Aspen was already upset and snapped at her. Shouting harsh words and scaring her off. Later that evening he cooled down, but his brothers rushed in saying Clem has ran away. In a fit of panic, they rushed out to look for her. Aspen was the first to spot her in the forest and saw a terrified dragon being held by a group of greedy merchants, who were about to slice off her gem crystals from her tail and neck. With no time to waste, Aspen shot at them with his arrows, getting one through the hand. His brothers finally caught up and drove them away while Aspen rush to his crying sister. Apologizing for his actions and hugging her close.

Aspen finally accepted his adoptive sister and promised to protect her from harm. Years later, his mother became ill and was already very old so her time to go came. Along with this, the town became more unkind towards the outcast in the Gallo family. Aspen and his brothers made sure no one would harm their sister. However, Clem decided it was best for all of them if she moved elsewhere. Another difficult decision and plenty of disagreement, but she was able to convince Aspen and his brothers. They traveled far until they found a group of friendly explorers who can take her in their settlement. They even handed Aspen a map if they ever want to visit and check on her... It's been almost a year now. Aspen was packing up for a long trip. Anxiously wondering how his sister is doing in her new home, it was time for him to visit.

Charge- The user boosts the power of the Electric move it uses on the next turn. It also raises the user's Sp. Def stat.
Spark- The user throws an electrically charged tackle at the target. It may also leave the target with paralysis.
Leer- The opposing team gains an intimidating leer with sharp eyes. The opposing team's Defense stats are reduced.
Crunch- The user crunches up the target with sharp fangs. It may also lower the target's Defense stat.
Thunderbolt- A strong electric blast is loosed at the target. It may also leave the target with paralysis.
Double Team- By moving rapidly, the user makes illusory copies of itself to raise its evasiveness.
Snarl- The user yells as if it is ranting about something, making the target's Sp. Atk stat decrease.
Substitute- The user makes a copy of itself using some of its HP. The copy serves as the user's decoy.
Thunder-A wicked thunderbolt is dropped on the target to inflict damage. It may also leave the target with paralysis.
Wild Charge- The user shrouds itself in electricity and smashes into its target. It also damages the user a little.
Giga Impact -The user charges at the target using every bit of its power. The user must rest on the next turn.

- Does have powerful eye-sight that Luxrays usually have, similar to x-ray vision. Can see through most objects and walls, but figures comes off as silhouettes.
