This X-Men script I'm using was taken from the try out page from Glass House Graphics. Some of the lingo I don't quite understand, so hoping to get some feedback and critique especially from industry professionals would be much appreciated.Page 1 Script
Splash page, full bleed. Big panel with several insets. Leave room for logo, title, credits and indicia. Begin with establishing shot of New York; there’s a streak of light hurling across the sky, but we can’t tell quite what’s causing it. (We’ll show it later). Cinematic “pan in” to a specific luxury apartment building. In a big picture window, past a fish tank filled with exotic fish, we see 2 people having a beautiful candlelight dinner…It’s SCOTT SUMMERS and JEAN GREY, enjoying a romantic dinner in this fancy penthouse apartment that a friend loaned to them for the weekend. He is well-dressed, in a GQ/classy suit. She is dressed extremely well, in a sexy fancy dress, but lots of cleavage, high-cut slit long skirt, high heels, sexy hairdo. But elegant, not trashy.

Nice work =] This was a tough one.. First off, love how you handled the last panel: having the viewer look through the fish tank to see scott and jean.. however, I only knew that because I read the script.. Maybe you should show one of the edges of the tank to let the reader know it's a tank, rather than Scott and Jean actually IN the ocean lol.. Other than that, you may want to open up your establishing shots.. Maybe show a piece of the building scott and jean are in, in the first panel, so that there's more of a connection with the first and second panel, because right now, the first and second panels are quite unrelated, aside from the fact that you see buildings in both..Other than that, I love your linework (I saw some of your ff pages before too) good job! =]

Their scanned in at 300dp RGB. Then, using photoshop for digital inking and that's a little bit of a process. If you need more details, let me know.

very nice page I specially love how you mix the fishes and the couple, so it not also looks very beautifull, exotic and romantic but also tells about where they are (like a luxurius place) of couse details are great as always , so work is amazingly great.
