Description
The next one of my mythical creature suggestions from my status update a while back, this one was suggested by my good friend - my take on a minotaur.

So here is Odysseus the minotaur (I was looking up names from Greek mythology, but rather than using Theseus, the name of the guy who fought the Minotaur of Crete, I thought Odysseus would be a cool name to use- the name of the guy who came up with the famous plan of the Trojan horse. ). I was thinking he could be a loner who made himself a maze (maze building ability runs in the family ) to keep himself in the middle training and crafting his weapons so he doesn't bother anyone... which is just as well because he doesn't really like company. He probably also has a fear of string due to the part of the mythology where Theseus used string to find the middle of the maze where the minotaur was. The only time he really feels he can bond with someone is in the heat of a fight - anyone who can make it to the middle and still be able to put up a fight is someone he feels is worth his time.

I decided to have a go at drawing Spartan armour on mine - I liked the idea when I was coming up with the design for him, as I saw don't think I usually see the minotaur portrayed with armour, and I just thought it would be cool. (I also had a lot of fun coming up with the design for the mosaic background - I used the mosaic filter on Photoshop. )
