I hate to do another J and D comic straight after the last one, but I have to emphasise how stupid the idea of dark daxter is...But honestly, did you hear it's accent? his levels are boring enough, but it's just painful to hear him talking about how tough he is while you crawl around, not being able to jump.

In Jak 3 when veger taunted Jak about Damas being his father Jak turn into Dark Jak and yelled "VEGER!!!!". I know he was only Dark Jak for a second but it still counts!

*sigh* this is why I HATE it when different companies work on a game for a famous character, they get everything wrong! It isn't just this series that got screwed over, another company other than isomniac (I don't think I spelled that right) made that game secret agent clank and look how that turned out!
Point is: new companies + old series = MAJOR CANON DESTRUCTION AND CRAPPY GIMMICS

I HATED being dark Daxter. He would always be like repeating the same thing over and over and I would just want to smash the screen and say 'I KNOW that this is a secret facility making dark creatures! Just jump already!'
But it was kind of fun being a tornado.

Oh gosh those levels got so monotonous after awhile, I really didn't want to play those parts. And yes, this is definitely why Dark Jak didn't talk at all -even if he had, his comments probably would have been better than Dark Dax's.

No, it was High Impact Games. Those guys are a bunch of hacks. They give a bull crap reason for Jak not being able to use his Dark Powers, contradict themselves by giving daxter a dark form, and give absolutly no reason for why Jak can't use his light powers.

well who ever did it they sucked what made me like all the games was they topped themselves and didn't do things that make my head hurt like Dark Dax he fell in Dark eco getting his Ottsel form ergo the ottsel/god form is his dark form

They're retards. You know, before that game came out, I already saw Dark Daxter pictures on this sight. Even those were better. One of those idiots at High Impact Games probably went on here saw one of those pictures and said this. (In retarded voice) "OOOOOOOOO! let's steal these artists' ideas but tweak it in a way that makes it look like we did it. We should also make sure that he can talk and also make sure that his voice is comepletly different because we all know that the fans hate daxter's original voice" "Hur hur"
I truthfully think that that was their thinking behind Dark Daxter.

I never played that series, but I get what you're saying.
The only company that didn't do to bad with a game after it was sold to them was vicarious visions. They did ok with Crash Bandicoot.

When I first started playing videogames as a little kid, I never played the full verszions of any games for some reason. It's strange beause now I hate playing demo versions. For me it's full version or not at all.
