do you create your terrain using terragen, or using another terrain programs then import it in?

if I havent commented before on this (cant remember) I will again, I love this and I cant believe this was done with terragen..so realistic looking...and it somehow got onto my desktop and became part of it!!!! RARE very rare... ;D

Very nice. I really like the terrain, especially on the other side of the water. I like how you have the moss/grass/whatever on the most of it and the stone/rock/whatever on the mainly vertical parts. Very nice

Nice. Excellent depth and contrast. That water looks good enough to swim in! 
As far as what ~dark-illusion said about the shoreline dropping off suddenly, all I can say is it's not that uncommon around here. It does look like a sudden drop off, but it also looks perfectly normal to me. Actually, I like it that way.

maybe if the water was lowers just a bit or transparencies lowered it might help it

Very calm, detailed and moody. However, you your postwork is not groundbreaking. I think it would have been nice with brids and planets even though more and more people do so.

Very nice texture and terrain work. The atmosphere flows with it all real well. The water more towards the middle looks a little odd with those ripples or waves stretching across them. Other than that....great render.
