Hey dude - from a a fellow terragener, thats bloody awesome. But how on earth do you do it. If you look at mine they dont bare any resemblence to yours. Mine all look fake, the water and everything - how do you get your terrain so photorealistic???
Is your version registered?
HELP ME!!!

Yep, i use registered version. I rendered it 1600x1200 and then resized it down to 1024x768.

It is beautiful terragen work, but, I find it to be a little boring. The colours and scenery are all a little drab. I'm not denying that you're fantastic with terragen, but it seems like something's missing here.

very beautiful, how long does it usually take to make a view like this?

duris In reply to Viika [2004-05-26 12:46:42 +0000 UTC]

Few hours + render time (10-20h)

superb! looking at this image has somehow just made me think of the PERFECT way to make a beach picture with proper water on the shore rather than a fake distinct line.. you have a lovely water setting here.. great work!

Nice work. What did you use for this? Looks a bit Mojoworld-esque. Surely that terrain can't be Terragen?

Adding in a darkened waterline might make it even better (I know what you're thinking, I hate it when people advise me on my work too).

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

duris In reply to dpattiso [2004-05-25 17:21:38 +0000 UTC]

It's 100% terragen. Terrain is 4095x4095 .DEM file from Navajo.
