Description

Poor Time. I'm so mean.

Given the power outage situation (which is a story and a half XD) I didn't finish this one til last night, so I'm skipping day 9 altogether and getting back on track.

...Which has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that I couldn't think of a damn thing for the day's prompt what are you talking about

Hello! I'm fromΒ  Β

Even though I havent played any of Zelda game, this looks pretty cool!

The line art looks so neat -which is a quality that makes the drawing look much better. I really liked the face. All the ratios and placing the elements of the face are very well-done in my opinion. The hair looks very detailed which is again a great detail. And pose looks very fine I think. Especially the face expression and the pose match very well. Also I cant pass without talking about the detials on the clothes. All the shadows and folds made the drawing look very natural in my opinion. Lastly, I liked the idea having a head skecth behind with more transparence :3
Points to improve, I think the drawing could be better if you chose a different color for line art instead of just pure black. I dont mean anything lighter, but it could be like dark purple or blue -it's completely up yo you. Cause trust me, it always works to make the drawing deeper and richer in colors :3 Also, maybe I can suggest you that again having a different light color for background. Having soft light colors combined with dark line art really gives a great feeling. But those are just my opinions, you dont have to agree with me :3 :3

Overall, it looks cool with everyhting you have done so far! Keep up the great works!! :3

Thanks!

Yeah, I definitely agree - most of the time when I do fully-rendered works with detailed lineart, I'll start it off in black and, once the color is laid down, often both for the characters and the background, often the last thing I'll do is pick some colors for the lines that match the colors they're up against. With such pieces, I use true black very sparingly, because I do know how much it can flatten an image. And I do agree on the white background thing, I only stopped here because of the time constraints of Inktober. :3

Hm, maybe you're right. I thought it wouldnt flatten the image if it's very very dark (very close to the black) But it's just my opinion and it's your art xd
I hope i could help anyway >~<

Thanks! Yeah, I think this style would lend itself well to comics, I've been dabbling in it just a bit. Or, I was before Inktober hit. XD
