My 2nd Jonny Quest Monster. This is the Invisible Monster from the 20th episode of the show which is also titled..."The Invisible Monster".

Gosh, how do they come up with some spiffy titles ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Anyway, this monster was brought about because of a science experiment in molecular physics that went wrong. The creature is invisible and is made of pure energy and electricity. And it is always hungry. But it doesn't eat things like a normal creature would. It transforms its food (it might be a radio, a generator, or a person), into energy and absorbs it. There is a lot of energy in fatty human calories don't ya know

Anyhoo, the only reason why the viewer was able to "see" the monster eventually was because the Quest crew dropped some glowing paint on it. Which explains the crazy colors I had to go with. It's basically a blob with 1 eye and a mouth. Not exactly the most original monster, but hey, it does work for the episode.

Anyhoo, I had fun with it. Pretty simple, but I got to work with some textures and brushes for once and got to smudge up the drawing. It didn't have to be super crisp and clean like it always is. I love the electronic roar of this monster. Really cool sound design they did with this guy in the episode.

For those of you youngins that don't know what Jonny Quest is, you are missing out.
