I have to say, when I saw "pink" in the title I was expecting something much "girlier"! They do look like some sort of polished pink mineral left in its matrix. Really gorgeous colours, excellent use of pink!

Not girlie at all! Thanks so much.

Beautiful work.

They remind me of some of the Peruvian Pink Opal I just saw at a local Rock show.

The piece in the upper left-hand corner is truly stunning. I love the pattern.

Is there a particular method you're using to apply the enamel? I know ellyloo uses stringers of it and I tend to prefer rolling my bead in one, melting it in, then rolling my bead in another. I was wondering if you have a different approach to achieve the effects seen here.

I've been rolling my beads in the enamels. I hate the respirator and it doesn't fit right anyway, so I find it hard to believe it can really prevent the glass powder from getting into my lungs. So I just spoon it very carefully onto a plate and roll the bead in it. I'm going to try making some enameled stringers too.

Thanks for your compliments!
