Concept art for a film project I am working for these days. The symbols and figures aren't supposed to make sense. it's just rubbish doodles of fractals and improvised geometric shapes. He spent years drawing spectacular worlds and creatures that came to life in his imagination. This is the moment when he realizes that he been hallucinating - like waking up from a dream you were so sure was real.Painted in photoshop

also the light on the figure is really, really lovely. You work really well in the lower value ranges, which i don't think is too easy to accomplish.

it's difficult to make out the significances of this wall he stairs at, so... glued by... not a fan of the snow flake brush. it's still quite luring at first glance.

i've always like the idea of mixing dreams and reality. And with film you have so many possibilities in portraying this, wonderful!...!..
