Description The Dreams Called Allegories
Drypoint, Etching, Aquatint, 11.5x17cm each, 2007

My first copperplate prints.
Image on the right hand is the third remake of The Tiger and other versions can be seen in [link] and [link]
Lefter one is a little off since I had no time to do dessin for a life model. Maybe do it when I paint it as a tableau.

These are super lovely!

I'm doing a whole series of straight drypoints in my printmaking class, and these are very inspiring. I love when people use all the intaglio methods together in one work.

Great vague space the tigerwoman is resdiding in. Makes it so dream like.
Great work.

Thank you very much for your comment.
It was fun to use all methods I learned but I don't do printings now. But I'm glad to learn that my first copperplate printings inspired you.

Fantastic prints!I really love how soft everything is. The details are amazing. I can't stop looking at all the textures you created. The wood grain of the floor and the hair is really great. The off-white paper is a nice touch too. I think white might have been too harsh.

Hi, thank you very much for your comment!
It was my very first etching and drypoint so there are amont of points I can't look at...
And I agree with you, bright white paper wouldn't match the ink.

What impresses me most is the way you blend human and animal muscle groups - very advanced - it makes it look far more real that most "were" stuff.
