The 9s constitute the last impulse on the four elements before they reach their final manifestation in the 10s. The 9s are ruled by the Moon and by the subconscious – drives and impulses that are rarely fully transparent to us and that may work for us or against us.

For the Wands and the element of Fire this impulse works in a positive manner, aligning our subconscious drives with our conscious will, and this translates into power or strength. We feel the unity of drive and intuition, both pulling us into the same direction, so our impact on our surroundings is not marred by any internal conflicts or contradictions. We feel that even the greatest undertakings come to us as easily as breathing.
