Nope, it's a glass technique!
I sort of smush the glass around where I need it to be... and the ancient effect is caused by rolling it in 99.9% pure silver foil or leaf!

They're all made out of glass, with a torch and various techniques.

I've always loved the silver against the ivory and the colors and patterns it produces. The etched glass wings (I assume) look great with the rest!

Thank you! the whole thing is etched... I didn't want to try to keep one part etched and the other not.
Good thing the rest looks great etched, and silver and cz's don't etch!
