I recently asked a friend for pictures of her five Norwegian Forest Cats (my favourites) - they are all very beautiful, and I felt like drawing them. They also make nice christmas presents (the drawings, not the cats
)!And then I got this absolutely cute photo of "Engel" (Angel) as a kitten...
This is only a test, I'm not yet sure about the format and the amount of details. Feedback is very welcome!
Time: 1-2 hours

When I (and Lo) first saw that, we were just in awe and just a BIT jealous about how wonderful you can draw and how you could do that masterpiece in such a short time.

She's so cute!
I love the drawing... you could add a bit more detial to her fur (especially in the middle of her body, that part is rather less detailed than the legs and tail), but it's fine like this as well - it makes her face stand out more.
The format is interesting (definitely looks better than to have the cat in the middle...), but maybe there's a bit too much empty space on the left.

Yeah, I thought so too... the problem is that her ody is basically solid gray. So I more or less invented some darker and lighter parts, exaggerating what was there.
And actually, there's even more space to the left - and some to the right. But I thought about making it Hochformat...
Schoerger's Papierkiste is where the paper's from - the one I went to on tuesday. It's somewhat smoother than the Tonpapier I used for the snow leopard, but nice to draw on.
