Description Well, here it is completed and sprayed!!

Done just on time, to be delivered tonight. Funny, I almost forgot to sign it. I had sprayed it once with permanent fixative, then remembered I hadn't signed it. So when it dried I quickly signed it, then sprayed the first coat of varnish on it. I just sprayed the second coat of varnish, and when it dries I'll mat it and put it in a resealable 14" x 18" bag and it will be set to go!

Hope my client likes it and I REALLY hope his wife likes it!

Details: Prismacolor colored pencils on natural Colourfix board. Stencil brush used for blending. No solvents.

You know, I can't remember what exactly it was that I saw or read on your DA site, but something made me think you were military (I just went back and read your journals and noticed that you mention it there, but I hadn't read them before now, so it wasn't that). Don't know, but I've been involved with the military for quite a few years. Something made me think you were military ....... just can't remember what????

amazing work as always, I love the soft shading here. every texture and surface is so well rendered... you're making me want to dig out the coloured pencils again, I'm seriously behind in practising lol!! I hope to be as good as this with them one day.

Great job. The eyes look like they are looking in slightly different directions but other than it is absolutely perfect and amazing!

Thank you Katie! I agree with you on the eyes. The photo was taken with baby's head at an awkward angle. He's really looking at his father almost out of the corner of his eye, and, of course his nose blocks part of the baby's right eye, thus we only see a little bit of his pupil. But you're right, it does look weird. If it had been my choice, I would've had him facing head on in the photo, but it was the best of all the photos my client gave me. *shrug* If only I could've had a photo shoot with the baby myself!
