Description 'cause "S'mores" sounded much better than "Tan, Brown, and White." Β 

So this guy is a lot larger than my other little dragon sculpts. I should take a picture of all of them together so you can get an idea, but for now, just take my word for it. I'm super happy with how he came out; these colors were great to work with. And although you can't really tell in the photos, he has lighter brown spots along the edges of his wings that add some extra interest design-wise. And I gave him a cute little Eastern dragon nose just 'cause. I think he's pretty cool looking, although I may be biased.

I use it to wrap around the foil to make it less edgy and to smooth it down. It makes it easier to get the clay onto the base without looking too bumpy or uneven or having the foil accidentally poke through. It isn't 100% necessary, but I find it easier to work with tape-wrapped foil than just foil on its own.Β

Wow, this one came out really great! I does look a bit bigger than all the others. I guess you could say that hes older than the rest. You could have also called him a Chocolate Dragon too, but Smores sounds cuter lol. Really great job on this!

Thanks! It really is hard to tell relative size between them with just their individual photos. Hopefully I'll get a group picture up later this week. Hmmmm, maybe I'll make a 'real' Chocolate dragon using only different shades of brown clay. That might be interesting.

Lol, that might be difficult. I guess I would just have to keep reminding myself that it's not real chocolate. What would make it even better is if I could find a way to make him smell like chocolate, too. That would be rad.

Heheh. I know it's possible to scent clay, but I don't know exactly how it's done. Pretty sure it has something to do with fragrance/soap oils and adding it to the clay somehow.
