Titan Heavy Power Armour
Originally developed for heavy manufacturing operations in deep space by Triarch Industries the Titan began life building vessels and prefab bases in inhospitable environments, seeing many adaptions before the civil war. As such civilian versions were, and are still extremely common, with the strength given by such frames able to lift truly monumental weights and protect from harsh temperature and radiological conditions. The Union of Worlds would however capture the manufacturing centres and designs of the Titan during the conflict, and build many variants of this extremely large exoframe. Standing roughly 10ft tall the Titan must be piloted by stepping up and into the frame, where neural links aid the wearer in controlling the armour. Still it is generally quite ponderous although can build up quite a speed when in full run. Titans are usually piloted by specialised teams in both the Army & Navy Core as part of shock assault forces and the marines respectively, able to form a bulwark of armour and firepower during boarding operations and orbital drop insertions where such frames are launched from low orbiting vessels directly into the battle. The Titan as such is fairly versatile, with modular pauldron, back mounted and arm mount systems capable of supporting a wide variety of weaponry, defensive measures and support measures. Typical loadouts usually include a orbital drop pack (shown here) with retro thrusters & Antigrav systems as well as wings to give limited manoeuvrability in flight and help the suit slow down, shoulder mounted smart missile launchers able to fire programmable warheads to saturate positions or engage armour, arm mounted Plasma blades for slicing through bulkheads or tough targets, pauldron mounted frag launchers to clear whole rooms of lightly armoured targets and a plethora of carried weapons such as Heavy Cascade Cannons, Autocannons, Heavy ballistic shields and more. The Titan as such is an excellent platform, one that features well on Union promotional posters for the military and one that has been adapted by both Triarch & Capitol for their own variants such as the Forgemaster & Brute respectively, able to take phenomenal fire and continue fighting.
