DAMN I'M TIRED.- Lox here is... unsure. He just intentionally killed someone, after all. Very gloomy atmosphere. He doesn't really feel that gash, but he holds it anyway.

The beginning of the really epic pages! I like how the top of this page starts off silly and ends up being dramatic like that. Those swirls are awesome. It makes me feel like the comic's opened up for real and could very well suck us in. I actually though it was a portal during my first read and that Zort was going to come out of it or grab Lox and pull him in.
The 4th panel's perspective is a bit confusing to me, or at least the angle of the floor makes it look like she'll slide off or something when looked at closely. Either that, or the darker contrast of the shadow underneath her causes the eye to fall downward.
Other than that, I love the panels of him getting up and looming over Zig. The panels within the last scene are a nice touch too.

If I am to be openly admittant as to what I found the funniest gag in the comic, it'd be that top panel. Oh darn though, a portal! XD Well I can understand the assumption, since you'll need to know a bit more about Zig's bio to make the connection right away.
Yeah, that panel looks really off-key - I'm glad someone could put to words exactly what's wrong with it! I am getting really carried away with visual angles and am venturing too far ahead of myself. Practice practice!

You're welcome. Heh, I get carried away with angles too, and in doing that, I forget little details that might be important...like what exactly will be shown on the sides and such. It's hard to push your brain to see that when you can't see it in real life.

I use Paint Tool Sai to draw and colour everything, MangaStudio to create my panels and Photoshop to put in text

Naw, it's a program that costs 30 bucks but people seem to like downloading pirated versions of it so if you're up to that.. then yes, technically, you can get it free

I think you made an interesting point how Lox never even bothered to learn her name. It's a shame really..just kind of shows how mindless the killing is. And his nervous laugh is a nice touch to show the emotion of it there too..it's just uncomfortable XD

I like it too - I was inspired by the movie "Clash of the Titans" for that. Hades made a very cool appearance on Earth, and he had all these glowing embers floating around.. awesome *_*
Nyeh... you're probably right. The perspective in Panel 5 was very influenced by ~Yeakuaf 's drawing style.. she does awesome below and above perspectives and her style is far squarer than mine. Assuming it will mingle with mine is sorta silly, yes P:
Indeed! It just throws in a little regret for him too.. but he has to keep moving. He really doesn't want to die. But he still has that morale behind him.. never killed another Irken, or anyone for that matter. He avoided a lot of the Armada and had hoped to harden up a bit once he tried to do a little work in the Elites, but he only performed acts of deceit to knock someone down, rather than mortal combat. Try to render them as useless and weak as him, perhaps a little less.

I find it funny that you mention an assassin as someone who wouldn't mind killing, because I've been scheming up an assassin character who hates himself because of all the people he's killed and knows that he'll have to kill later... Oh the irony XD

Lox is very ungrateful. Making rude remarks at someone on their deathbed, he should be ashamed. Well, she was sent out to kill him. But sheesh Lox, I'm sure she heard that from up there. At least he feels sorrow for her.
Your comic looks so different from there up until now. Lox is now greener, smaller, and doesn't have that creepy smile anymore
