A fairly new character of mine, who has the somewhat innocuous name of "Nettle."

Nettle is a fey from the north, and was originally part of the Unseelie court, where he was apprenticed to a dark master. His apprenticeship was cut short, however, when his master was slain by a group of heroes. They might've killed him, too, but it was believed that the young fey had the capacity for good. They took him into their care, tried to teach him, and guide him onto the right path.

However, old habits die hard, and his nature isn't something he can just ignore. He ultimately left them, and currently exists as a wandering fey, without ties to any court. He still has that spark of good in him, but only time will tell if it will be able to grow, or if he'll follow in the footsteps of his old master, and serve the darkness instead. For now, though, he simply does as he pleases.
