I really like this. Simple, but not simple. Black and white but full of so many different shades. And of course the subject matter is great.

Wow, just looking at that sends chills up my spine. It looks cold as in snow cold, 'cause it's obviously a winter scene, but the grim darkness of the castle is just - scary. And majestic at the same time. Wonderful job.

This is beautiful! I love this style it looks so real! I really like that you made this black and white it helps with the cruel and icy effect! I love the Brian Jacques Redwall series. This is definately worth a fave! Great job.

Haha there's brown and green too but it's ok, I know they're faint XD I did start this painting b&w afterall.
Oh those silly textures. 1/3rd is accidental (I looked at the pic and went, hey wait, when did I paint those tiles - for real), 1/3rd is gritty brushwork, and the last is overlaid specific textures on reeeeeeeeeeaally low opacity (like 6%).

Lol yes! DING DING DING! GREEN FLAGS lol. I work on two different computers and the brightness/saturation are REALLY different, so its hard for me to tell which one's got the *correct* settings. In other words, I can't tell if what I see is the same as what OTHERS see. Blargh!
