Description
This is my forest that I quickly made up one day in computer animation. Seeing as I don't have many deviations up, I thought that I might as well post it. ^^ Tell me what you think.Related content

oh and to add alittle extra Zing to it, make a few more different tree models and throw em in. that can actually make a world of differense.

ya, I realise that now. ^^ Well, if I ever make a forest again, I will make my trees different from one another. I use Animation Master for all my 3D Animations. ^^

Animation Master has options where you can create materials, object/models, actions, decals, and choreography. It's actually quite interesting. I use it when I'm in my 3D Computer Animation and Graphics class. I want to put up some of my moving animations. But I think that all of them are too large to submit. *sigh* I guess it wouldn't hurt to try though. hmmm..I shall try to do that next class. ^__^

cinema does all that, and supports inverse kinemetics, bones, nurbs, splines, multiple lighting options, multiple render options (such as cell shading if thats ur deal) and it supports soooooooooooo much more with plugins like dynamics (realistic physics), shave and a hair cut (hair and grass), pyrocluster (realistic smoke, cloudes, water, fire, explosions, etc).

Animation Master does most of that stuff as well. Not the cell shading, but it does do cartoon render, and other rendering options. I just didn't really want to sit here and list everything it did. ^__^ But it's a pretty good program. *nods* So you use Cinema???

yaaay another 3D artist. woo. I wish i could see the animation. Its pretty good i think. The water distribution is excellent because it seems natural rather than forced like alot of stuff people do.
You should really look up Terregen. Its a FREE 3D program that lets you create THE MOST realistic terrain ive ever seen in a metter of seconds. Its incredibly easy to use. u should check it out.

lol. Ya, this picture looked a lot better in my animation class. When I uploaded it on here though, it turned out more fuzzy then clear. *sigh* Oh well. Most people when they're doing water for their first time tend to think "oh water's blue, so then i'll colour it in blue.' And really water is not only blue but clear and reflective. So, you just have to experiment with your properties. thanks so much for you comments. ^^

yea. if u have the option to change refraction settings on your water texture, set it to 1.23. cause thats the real life refraction # for water. it really makes a differense

lol. that's alright jess. that convo's actually pretty old. we were sending "comments" to each other while in computer animation, even though he sits almost right infront of me, yet we didn't just turn around. oh no. not like normal people. ^^ ummm...the pic here is actually pretty bad quality. I would actually prefer you to come in and see it during G block. I think we have it on wednesday. -esque is a suffix used in place of -like. Or at least, that's how I use it when I want to sound like an idiot. I know that's not the real definition. For example, instead of life-like, life-esque. mine is here [link]
