Description
On the morning of September 11, 1993, we're on Conrail's LE&E Division outside of Columbus OH at Breakneck Ridge State Park to chase C&O #2765 (NKP 765) on the September 1993 Lake Erie Chapter NRHS Lake Erie Limited from Cincinnati OH to Boston MA. Soon, we caught the 2765 & her 25 car train racing along at track speed heading for the Athens of America outside of Breakneck Ridge Tunnel. The Berkshire was altered to look like a C&O Kanawha in recognition of the route, the New River Train excursions traveled & for CSX's Business Train. The river in the background is the Little Miami River which is one of many rivers running through Breakneck Ridge State Park. Just past our cameras, the 2765 would pass a Chicago Bound Trailer-Van Train led by 2 SD40-2 & a GP40-2. The train would reach Boston, the following day.
