On the night of March 14, 1987, we're trackside on Denver & Rio Grande Tracks outside of Pueblo CO. The train we're catching tonight is Rio Grande's Hotshot Train, The Ford Fast Auto Parts #179. Considered the Hottest train on the Railroad, this train hauls Auto Parts from Salt lake City UT to Denver CO for interchange eastwards. Soon, we spot the train racing pass our camera's behind 3 GP40-2's as it makes it's way to Denver.Note: I couldn't find anything on this train, so anyone who has info on many of Denver & Rio Grande Western's Freight Trains, please reach out to me.
