Headcanon: This Blaze isn't the same one that Sonic met in his life. That one is from the Sol dimension, but there still needs to be a counterpart on Mobius because timelines and stuff like that

Correct! There is a 200ish-year offset in the present of the Sol Universe vs. the present of the GOTF-verse. That's why Sonic met Sol Blaze when he was alive, but GOTF Blaze was born around the same time as Silver.

She's a machinist/roboticist - she spent a lot of time fixing Metal, so she feels an attachment to her "creation" (even though she didn't exactly create him).
But she put a lot of time and effort into the bot, and doesn't want to see him destroyed if it can be helped; which is actual good thing considering a piece of Sonic is actually trapped inside Metal. And I don't know what would happen to that piece if the robot got destroyed. X3

Basically, Sicily is the Tony Stark of this universe. So attached to their creations (For Tony, it's his Iron Man suit. For Sicily, it's Metal Sonic) they can't part with them. XD

Thanks! I'm afraid the plot of Ghosts of the Future is more-or-less figured out at this point, and except for a couple future issues Amy isn't going to be featured. If you wanna see more of Amy in my work though, I'd check the Archie books that I've penciled-- she's a main character in several of them. STH #258-9 and Sonic Boom #1-2 spring to mind.

Last time I noticed, you didn't do a pristine clean look, but went with a more sketch/looser look, which looked pretty good to me.

Believe it or not, this is still the sketch-- my digital pencils have gotten much cleaner since I started. You can see the transition take place in Issue 12's art.
It's not why I changed, but I got a lot of complaints about the super-rough look... I guess you and I were in the minority in our enjoyment of it.
