Hey man great tut.
I've always done my lighting with c4d of course, but this might be fun to try your technique. Gosh it's been so long since i've done any sort of lighting with ps.

Good job bro. It's a hit.

Very insightful sir. A good technique that I'm sure a ton of people including myself, overlook. I'll have to remember this.

affekt [2005-02-23 15:04:06 +0000 UTC]

Useful technique... although it seems an obvious thing to do I don't usually shadow or highlight my renders like that.

niteangel [2005-02-23 12:59:46 +0000 UTC]

Interesting, but I never did that. I even rendered the elements with correct lighting in the model construction stage.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Exhale-NL In reply to niteangel [2005-02-23 14:39:07 +0000 UTC]

I know that it's possible to render all the lighting you want in a 3D program, but when I do that it doesn't turns out as I want it most of the time. And I love to brush lighting it's one of the funnest parts in making pieces imo

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

niteangel In reply to Exhale-NL [2005-02-23 14:47:54 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, airbrushing is fun. I do it only to color my pieces
