This is really gorgeous! Awesome manip and you did just the right amount of texture. It's funny because I recognized the mesh metal tubing, I used that as a support for the inside of the robot arms I built [link] I used them because they allow rotation in the wrist and were flexible enough to bend at the elbow.

damn!! awesome. conjurs two major images - a spider, large, mechanical, the deadly-kind, and the massive weapon, with the tip at the bottom being the outlet of a lot of energy - basically a big motherfucking can of whoop ass.
a third image - the skeletal of a machine. haha. thinking itd be cool if with a mask and skin and what not (if it were a bot/android), it becomes a nanny or a caretaker or something similarly docile! anywho, catch you l8r. i presume theres another installment of the mechanix by your comments. looking forward to whatevers next

nice! usually when I see this type of manip, the connections are blurred at arbitrary spots... this one has clear-cut connections between all the different parts. the texture is also overlayed very well... nice job!
