Thu'urock Baal... The Living Nightmare

Few know the existence of the beast of the underground, even fewer have seen and lived to tell of it's name... Thu'urock Baal.

Born into a far off land, this monster is unlike most members of the Syndicate. Lacking finesse, this 20ft behemoth instead chooses to devour its prey whenever and wherever it feels right at home, whether it be the sewers or perhaps even the open streets. It's hunger never satisfied, it toys with its 'meals', often biting off only the legs and letting its victim momentarily escape so as to pursue after it once again.

One could assume that, with such a large savage creature, it would possess little in terms of intellect. However, the most horrifying aspect of this creature is indeed it's ability to comprehend and think, enough to even communicate clearly to those foolish enough to face it. Survivors, what little there are, are split between describing its voice as loud and monstrous, to quiet and cold... a whisper slipping between it's large teeth. One moment it would talk, revealing all it's favorite sorts of 'meals' and how to better consume them, and in the next it would stare right through you... it's bright eyes so pale and ghostly that it would instill fear and shock, 'petrifying' it's victims in their place.

In order for the Syndicate to recruit such a creature, the organization had to sacrifice over fifty of its own members. None were aware by the time the entrance of its cave was sealed, and ten by ten the chosen many were eaten alive. When all members were confirmed to be deceased, then Syndicate leadership proposed their offer.

The beast's response was simple... and easily accomplished.

"Give me another fifty... and I will happily join."
