Here is a DC comics villain OC designed mainly as an enemy (to any of the green lanterns and the green lantern corps) I was going for a insect/humanoid design and his clothing is to represent the scientist clothing he once wore, anyway here is a description about this character and a list of powers and abilities.

Character description:

Xandrad is a member of an insectoid/humanoid race called, Krit'ol, from the planet Krit'olan, and one of the greatest mind on the planet, making ground breaking leaps in science, yet he was never satisfied with his achievements until he heard of a creature who killed a man who went by the the name ''Superman'' and decided to do research on him and learned about earth and the justice league and so on. And as powerful as the Kryptonian seemed, the one called ''Martian manhunter'' interested him most with him showcasing far more powers than the man of steel, including ones similar to his own, along with the monster named ''Doomsday'' and the creatures immense physical powers and brutal nature.

In secret he smuggled Martians from mars, both green and white in an effort to increase his own mental powers and turn himself into the most powerful psychic in the universe. the experiments were gruesome and cruel and proved a success as his telepathy had increased significantly and he developed powerful telekinesis as an added bonus, he'd be found out by other scientists he worked with and he used his advanced powers to kill numerous people, only being stopped by a green lantern who answered their distress call and though he put up a great fight, he was defeated. Xandrad was locked in a super maximum security prison where he was bound to the back wall of his cell, unable to move and was mentally restrained by a psionic disrupter, also attached to the wall, in psychic torture simulations and remained in that immobile state for centuries, growing in rage and hatred and obsession with the green lantern corps.

His agonising patience had paid off as he was selected by a red lantern power ring which freed him of his prison, ready to take his revenge, on his travels across the galaxy he met another red lantern who he lead to a false sense of security then killed her with his psychic powers and claimed her ring as a prize to grow in power and find his way to earth, where he began the first of many fights with the green lantern/s, the justice league and green lantern corps.

Powers/abilities:

Hyper intelligence: Xandred's race developed an 8th level intellect, which he himself has a 9th level intellect being the smartest of his people.

Decelerated aging

Enhanced strength: Xandred possesses superhuman levels of strength to lift 7 tons, without any help from his psychic or power ring augmentations

Telepathy: Xandred's race evolved on their home world with out proper mouths, having plated armour plates over them and find it easier to communicate mind to mind as well as with their sequences of chirps and cricket sounds. Xandred augmented his own telepathy to achieve psionic powers almost rivalling Martian Manhunter's powers, able to mind control, telekinesis, illusions, mind melding, communication, mind reading etc

Red lantern rings and power lantern: Thanks to the boiling up rage/hatred, Xandred was chosen by the infamous red lantern corps that grant power and abilities of green lantern, such as hard light constructs, communication, flight energy blasts, force fields etc. He stole a second one as a way to further add to his own power.

Weaknesses:

- Xandred is still vulnerable to psionic based attacks just as The Martian Manhunter is.

- Xandred's power rings can run out of charge if he fails to recharge them regularly.

- Blue lantern corps of hope energy
