Description I knew I'd find this scribble on some old External Hardrive Buried in my basmenet storage room. I was correct.

This is being uploaded only for and because I told them I'd see if I could dig it up for them.

a discarded rough draft and the only other Naruto image I have ever drawn (besides the one already in my gallery.)

This rough sketch dates back to (according to the file date) 07/24/2005

Yeah it's that old.

I had considered this once upon a time as an idea for the Yaoi-con Art show, but went with the Sirius x Remus image in my gallery instead for that show. Hence why this never made it past rough draft stage.

But it is Kakashi x Iruka 's favorite pairing so here you go sweetheart. Ancient art uncovered in my basment dungeon. LOL

I love the detailing in the hair and the background. I also like how they are so intertwined! <3

For fun, re "ancient scribble," try deciphering the "Emerald Tablet" by Hermes Trismegistus (aka the "Emerald Tablet of Thoth"). It contains the secret of the Cosmos for those who can intuit its esotericism...
(If you're seriously interested, start with Dr. Manley P. Hall's masterwork, "Secret Teachings of All Ages.")

Eee. Thanks. I'm rather sheepish about it, it's really old.

More like finding BURIED SHAME. It's really old stuff. I'm rather embarrassed by a lot of what is wrong with this picture.

It's beautiful hun. An old piece or not it's lovely. The pose and the way they're holding hands is just freaking adorable and I love the expressions.

Well I'm glad you liked it, I only uncovered this shame for you sweets. (I'm rather mortified at some of the errors in this, but since it is a really rough draft and about 6 years old... I'll let it slide.)

I love it and thank you for pulling it out for me. That said there is nothing to be ashamed of, not even the mistakes. It's a wonderful lovely piece and like you said 6 years old.

This got buried under a pile of comments.

LOL!!! But Jiraya that's HOLLY not mistletoe! Don't get holly too close to your twig -n- berries! Holly is sharp and pointy!!!

KiterieAine In reply to fablespinner [2011-11-06 02:43:38 +0000 UTC]

*laughs* Yeah the concept is hilarious though NOBODY every gets the mistletoe right... I just shake my head and laugh. I actually did a fic last year that plays off everyone getting it wrong and off my dislike of random OCs liking Kakashi.

I should have used that for one of my themes this year. Mistletoe is white, Holly is red, both are poisonous but one is prickly

And mistletoe isn't a bush or tree like Holly grows... It's a parasite-plant that grows on Oak trees.

Holly is invasive but I don't believe it's parasitic. We have a terrible time in WA supposedly with it. The crap is everywhere and it's not native.

Holly is not parasitic (but it is an IVY and spreads quickly), Mistletoe is the little blood sucker, it only grows on Oak Trees.
