Thanks! And most of them aren't, but the other species are also very skittish compared to this one. I can shoot a few inches from them, and they'll just sit there.

Yep they're called Lubber grasshoppers and they're kind of dramatically poisonous, to the point that they'll threaten predators with it. They're interesting to take pics of though because they're such bold things. I can put the camera right up to them most of the time.
