Description Here you go: Girl Power and the Diabolical rolled into one! You'll pardon me (and understand...) if my favorite thing about drawing this one was the form-fitting scale armor... Well, that and her face. This was actually one of the earliest ink drawings I ever did (15 years ago), and the ink smeared some around the white spots on the page--I cleaned it up digitally.

Thanks! Yeah, I can go either way on the "Who's Controlling Whom" notion, although the women usually get the short stick. I've got a couple more like this one in my scraps.

actualy scale armor can be made to either conform to anything its worn over, (and it does do it that tightly) or it can be scales attached to a ridged plate that has a form, which could be a skin tigh one. So no real fowl there!

Thank you. I think the issue is that it's not as bulky as it likely should be, unless those scales are really thin--like mithril or something... Regardless, though I my mind registers a covering of scales on her chest, I'm afraid I "see" other things when I look at her...

Glad you like it. I am quite fond of her myself. She has the same look in her eyes as "Kalkin" and the eagle in "Dawn Escapes the Night," but hers has a unique and hungry flare to it... --Faile35

I love you're shading technique, it looks like it's done by by the old masters but the shadowing on the scalemail and arms is different, it gives a great sense of depth

That scale armor is really great. So is that foreshortened arm, and the position of those wings! A really great piece. Textures are quite abundant in this piece, even though it features only two characters. Beautiful job. A nice addition to 6,6,06.

You're very welcome. Horror is always fun to portray. A few years ago that was my main subject. My notebooks were filled with gore.
