Ok, so when I first joined DA, I adopted this gal. I can't believe I never made a character out of her. But again, I haven't done so with many of my adopts (that may change soon). I've had her since 2012, so like, 11 years. WOW. I adopted her from

This is Maja (pronounced "Maya"). I imagined her as a new friend of Geno and Gurri's after the feud begins between their family and Rolla's. I know Membo and Nello are adopted as kinda playmates by Faline in the novel, but they are also Geno and Gurri's adopted brothers. I thought it would be nice to have a friend for them outside the family.

oh, also, this is Banda's daughter! I originally had her as Acca's daughter, but since Banda is a more developed character of mine, I changed it. I imagine Banda trying to right her own mother's wrongs.

Since she isn't a large part of my version of Bambi's children, she's more of a static character. She's fun-loving and plucky. She's very extroverted and loves meeting new fawns. The complete foil to her traumatized mother. Even if Banda is apprehensive about going to the meadow, she does so anyways so Maja is happy. As Maja was chasing a butterfly in the meadow, she runs into Geno and Gurri, who's mother is in conflict with their friends' mother. The friendly Maja asks them to play and they oblige. Maja is smitten over Geno, but he doesn't seem to notice. Faline notices the three fawns playing together and afterwards, heavily encourages her children to become friends with her as a distraction from Boso and Lana. The twins do genuinely become friends with her though. I would like to believe that they still remain friends, even after Faline and Rolla reconcile.

Also, as Banda's daughter, she is close to Fawna and Ronno's children as well. Regga is her best friend.
