I have spend so much time on one entry that I just had to get something else to work on because it just drove me nuts. And ofcourse Lilac would be the one in this picture I adore her to pieces.

With a soft sigh Lexi fell down on the soft, cozy couch that stood against the wall, under one of the big windows in her not so large, cozy house. She cuddled up to the backrest and blow softly in the warm cup of hot chocolate she held between her fingers. The weather outside was beautiful, but it still was a bit too cold to run around without a jacket. But she had been ignorant and had went outside without one this morning.
The cold had withdrawn itself into her bones and it would take some time before she would feel warm again.
With a soft nibble she took a small swallow out of the cup. She burnt her tongue, but enjoyed the warm feeling pouring through her body too much to notice. She turned her head and looked out of the window. Her backyard was one big meadow, surrounded with a old but thick fence. She smiled when she saw Lilac grazing in the low sunset. Panda stood along her side and didn't leave her mom for a moment. It was one of their first few times outside and the little filly seemed to enjoy it. It was only yesterday the little thing went bucking and running around the whole field, Lilac trotting behind her all the time, keeping an eye on her, overprotective as she was. Lexi smiled and took another nip from her warm cup of cocoa.
This morning another youngster had arrived at the stables. The filly had been roaming around their lands on her own for a while. She seemed to be abandoned by her mom and her herd so the rangers decided to catch her. As soon as Oliver had heard about the youngster he had decided to take care of her. Maybe she would fit with Lilac and her baby, so she could still have some family before growing up without one.
Lexi had put the few months old filly into the meadow where Lilac and Panda were already grazing together. And since the stranger had arrived in the meadow, Panda hadn't left Lilac's side for a second. Rain, as how they've named her, tried to get a little closer to the two, but she seemed to have a bit of trouble with fitting in. The insecurity the mare had spanned over on Lilac, so the meeting went a bit inconvenient.
It was just half an hour ago that Lexi had put Rain into the paddock with Lilac and her foal and only now the new filly had come close to the two, grazing along them, trying to make friends. Lexi looked at them, a smile on their face. The three of them would sure become good friends, she wouldn't even doubt it anymore.
