Well... It's a nice concept, honestly I think the 'official' theory is just a trap comfirmation. Because the mystery fails on so many levels. I think we were just being fooled since we didn't think.

Only the real detectives got it.

D: Btw have you tried and watch KnowNoMore? He goes against the official theory but respects Ryu07, making it really making sense of what happen. Technically the theory goes that the Main Culprit is Rosa (EP1,2,4,) while the second culprit is George (EP3/5) as the accomplish is Nanjo.
He has the Whodunnit,Whydunnit,Howdunnit.

Though i think to believe it, one needs to let go their love for the ending of EP8. Storytelling is magic after all ...

Only thing I disgree with is the last couple of things: THe meta world, the Ange's world being fake. and other stuff that cannot be complete confirmed or denied, which I cannot think of at the moment.

the shakanon truth has nothing to do with who the real culprit is, and frankly i don't really care if i'm a 'true fan/detective' or not. i enjoyed the story for what it is and i would prefer to just appreciate it for what it is.

in my opinion, people are making the mistake of taking umineko as an actual detective story but it's NOT.

the readers are allowed to make whatever sense there is out of the story. i've read plenty of theories on different forums [mostly chinese] and a couple of them are sound theories as well, \o/ i'm not about to wholeheartedly argue for any of them given my respect for the original work.

Not a problem.

I love Ryu07 work for his stories. Though the problem with umineko and not Higurashi is that fact that it is a blanated Mystery story with rules. Of course Van Dine was mention in the second OP of Umineko.

I abesolutely love EP1-8... I loved what it taught us, though... If you're going to write a mystery... no matter what, there has to be a culprit.

Be it that Umineko was an explosion with letters as the mystery or an actual tragedy.

Btw have you played the Rose Gun days demo? Seems like it's going to be interesting
