Description I got commissioned again by ~apopqueen , and this time, I was asked to draw her puppy, Winston. He's a French Bulldog.

Sketched with an HB mechanical pencil. Colored with Prismacolor colored pencils.

What a perfect name for a French Bull Dog, Winston It's class!
I love how well you portrayed his chubby, puppy-like features, very nicely done!
I also envy how well you can colour black animals, this is amazing.

He sounds like quite the gentleman, doesn't he?

Puppies are a lot harder for me, since their features are so different compared to a full-grown dog.

Black is such a hard coat color!

The only puppy I've drawn was Layla, and I found her really fun because of all the folds in her skin ^^ but I totally understand what you mean

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! Again! You did such a beautiful drawing of another one of my doggies! You are so talented! Thanks everyone else for commenting on my new little guy! Winston is a French Bulldog. He's black/brindle with a white chest and chin! SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ADORABLE! It's crazy how smushy, chubby, cobby, stocky and just all around freakin' adorable he gets everyday! And you totally did an amazing job capturing that in this drawing! I love my drawings, thank you so much! I will definitely have you do one of him when he's full grown! (my other drawing is the dog trio with the orange background)

I LOVE the fat belly. LOL. So cute, what a great job! I'll keep that in mind, that you need more puppies to draw if I ever take any puppy photos. They are definitely all out of proportion - that's what makes little creatures so friggin cute.

Thanks! I find black fur difficult to do--especially the highlights! I was glad I had a good ref to work from.

D'awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww D: soooooo cuuuuute You did such an awesome job on this the colouring looks beautiful 8D you shaded and highlighted the fur really nicely n_n you captured the subtle sheen on the fur really well and nice work on the little big of fur texture on the front chest part too 8D What I love most about this though is the expression X3 it's just so sweet i want to melt you drew the eyes so nicely ^_^ and you put so muce 'life' into them very nice piccy!!!! :3

XD PUPPIES. I rarely get to draw puppies. They're so HARD because their bodies are all...unproportional and stuff. XD I'm so used to drawing adult animals, gah.
