This is the fourth of the character profiles for my Wonder Woman: The Animated Series concept.

After Diana and Hippolyta, Phillipus is arguably the single most important Amazon within the Post-Crisis canon. She was the general of their military and later became their equivalent of a president following Queen Hippolyta's death during Our Worlds At War. Like most Wonder Woman fans (and writers), I'm definitely a supporter of the relationship between Hippolyta and Phillipus. As such, that informed my take on her here. I fleshed out her backstory a smidge (since they never really do that in the comics, to my recollection) and had her become Queen Consort of Themyscira (meaning she's Queen by marriage). This makes her co-regent.

Design-wise, she's totally influenced by the aesthetic of the films. This was purposeful. However, I also gave her the red cape that's kind of been a trademark for her and decided to go with braids for her hairstyle (though it probably looks more like crimped hair).
