With the Wonder Woman movie less than a month away, I figured now was as good a time as any to actually sit down and focus on the Wonder Woman side of my DC Universe head canon. I decided to present this as its own branded project under the moniker of Wonder Woman: The Animated Series. After all, doesn't Wondy finally deserve an animated series of her own?This first profile focuses on the titular heroine herself. Visually, I didn't do so much of a redesign as it's more like a revamp of what we're seeing her wear in the DCEU and what she's currently wearing as part of DC's Rebirth initiative. The bio takes a more modern approach to her origins and places the inciting conflict that serves as her introduction to Man's World in the present. For those who read between the lines, I tailored it specifically to reflect contemporary political tensions.
For those inquiring about what origin I'm going with for Diana's birth, fans of the clay origin will be happy to know that that's what I'm sticking with for the time being. However, this would not be something depicted within the series itself as it would begin immediately in the present. I figure - let's leave Diana's birth and parentage alone since it's so divisive and focus on who she is as a woman and as a hero. You'll also note that I left out any information about her relationships. Those will come to light as I post the profiles of other characters.

Nope. This takes place very early on in Wonder Woman's career, hence why Donna Troy is Wonder Girl. She was the first (and best) Wonder Girl.

Good job!!! Only think I need to know, is 6 the highest rank? cause if it is, your completely right with the rank (her speed should be in highest ranks as well)! But if it's 7 like I have seen before in other power grades, I think you should make her have 7 in speed (due to reflexes), strength (almost comparable with Sups), and in combat (she has trained over centuries, she has beaten gods and is also the actual God of War, and it has been said by both Bats and Cyborg that she is the best fighter in the world)... oh, and I'm pretty sure that she should have at least a 5 in EP (now she can create lighting bolts and energy fields with her strength)

This profile is for a concept that is not related to any one official canon. As such, she's not the God of War and is most definitely not the child of Zeus. She's more Perezian than anything else.
In order for her to have a seven in speed, that would mean that she can run/fly at warp speed (faster than light). For her to have a seven in strength, she would be able to lift over 100 tons. This would put her on par with the Hulk, which I suppose would make sense. As for a seven in combat, that would require her to be the master of ALL forms of combat. That would be impossible. Rather, she's the master of the Themysciran forms of combat and would have some passing knowledge on how to counter certain forms of combat outside those she learned on the island. I'm also not convinced that she should be referred to as the best fighter in the world (at least as far as martial arts are concerned) since Lady Shiva is often given that title.

The one who fought with Superman a war that lasted over 2 thousand years... the one who has helped Sups and Martian Manhunter move the Earth... the one whoΒ blocked trillions of god shards flying at her from the edges of the universe...

I wasn't trying to say you weren't. In fact, you introduced me to a lot of Wonder Woman enemies I didn't know about. I just wished to express desire to see some of the more lesser known enemies that I would love to see given your magic touch. There are a lot of forgotten Wonder Woman enemies who could be used again in modern times with the right reboot(Case in point, what has been going on in the current Wonder Woman comics).
I'm glad you'd like to here my suggestions. Here's some villains that are lesser known that I think you could make awesome:Β Angle Man, Mouse Man, Blue Snowman, Cyborgirl, Silver Swan, Egg Fu, Doctor Poison; just toΒ name a few.

I think it's all relative really. To a well-read Wonder Woman fan, characters like Doctor Poison and Silver Swan wouldn't be viewed as obscure as Blue Snowman or Cyborgirl since they show up in many Wonder Woman stories. Doctor Poison is also certain to get a boost in recognition due to her presence in both the Rebirth Wonder Woman title and in the upcoming movie.
I do plan to include Angle Man, Blue Snowman, Silver Swan, and Doctor Poison. The latter two I've actually done redesigns for in the past. I won't be touching Egg Fu though. That's a racist caricature that I have zero interest in going anywhere near. He needs to stay in the dustbin of obscurity with the rest of the racist trash comic writers thought was okay.
So, what makes Grey Delisle the easy choice in your mind?

For a voice actress, I'd have to say Susan Eisenberg. Entirely because she was just such a perfect voice for her in the Justice League cartoon and honestly she's a great voice actress overall. Although I could easily see Keri Russell in the role as well.

I'm unfamiliar with her work, but in listening to her speak I can certainly hear how well she'd fit the role of Wonder Woman. I always think there needs to be a sweetness to Diana's voice, which I think is something that's not often seen in adaptations. They often go for deep, aggressive voices.

I was definitely trying to balance the different aspects of Diana's voice. I wanted there to be the sweetness and empathy, but there also had to be that power and respect. It certainly made it a challenge to find an actress who could balance all of those essential aspects of Diana's voice, but I think Graves could manage it.
