One of my patrons on Patreon requested this as a reward this month. This is a younger Sthozdris (the future father of Svadri), on an adventure of his own told in a Metroidvania style video game.

In City of Stone and Fire Sthozdris and is wandering the jungle of the Endland Wilds with several other others of his people at the base of a mountain when that mountain lets out a quaking roar! Several winged creatures swoop down and snatch Sthozdris's men, carrying them toward the top. Sthozdris resists and manages to overcome his winged abductor, but lands in a patch of monstrous thistles and thorns, which perpetually ruin his frill and scar his body. To find the others, he ventures in an ancient lost City structured inside the mountain. The city is far from abandoned, but every being residing therein is overcome with savage sadism. Everywhere he travels, the creatures grin and give chase to destroy him without reason other than mere pleasure--which doesn't bode well for the others of his people. Where did they come from? Who do they answer to? Sthozdris's strength will be tested, and his resolve tried, but the fuel of fury flows in the blood of his lizardfolk people, and when that fury is kindled, its enough to level mountains.
