Done for Momocon 2008 program book cover, taking place March 15-16 in Atlanta GA. Not my usual style, but was an interesting challenge..This year, the theme was "death".. It was a challenge to keep the cuteness of the mascot and add "death" into the mix, so I went with a bit of a "death goddess" theme
The con was fun, but crazy with the storms...

You did really awesome at the panel! I always go to lots of panels, and I have to say yours was really damn fun, not to mention off the wall. You don't get a lotta crafter panels. ):
If you do another panel, I'll be sure to come. I'm trying to get a hold of the guest guy for momocon so I can help out with the artist roundtable, but no luck as of yet. <__<;
Did you not finish watchin' the steampunk panel? I remember you asking me if it was over, since I was leaving. I just had to go cause everyone in my group was so tired, and I'm was the only one who doesn't mind Atlanta driving. XD

nah,unfortunately, we were really tired and hungry, so we sat in for a little bit, then had to scoot..
been too busy to try and apply to do a panel at AWA though . maybe next year, or at momo again

yeah, wanted to die when i saw that AA hour posting, ew. WOuld be nice to be able to enjoy the con without pressure that comes from manning a table. Otakons got similar hours
I'm at um black 23 I think. its along the left wall, at an end, which was awesome since I'll be romping around in cosplay and don;t wanna beat up folks when i come out from behind the table for pics and tomfoolery!

Well they did the hours like that for the people in the AA who stayed there 3 days with no sleep. XD Or so I would guess.

Well I guess I call a club, but I am really mostly just trying to come up with reference lists. People attending list and AA/Dealers list.
Oh, well, I wanted to help with the artist round table or some kind of artsy panel. But it's hell getting a hold of anyone. DX I guess I'll just randomly help out like I always have. Like showing up to a panel and helping set up cause people are late and stuff. 8D

Meeeehhhh... ;___; I couldn't go. We had no hotels, and people didn't want to go because of the storm. I think while Atlanta was okay, Athens was in a really bad condition.
However, the art is really nice, I love it! I wish I would have gone, again, so I could have it. X3

Momocon's basically been forcing me to step waaaay out of the ol' comfort zone, but its okay.. I think i like how this one turned out more than last years XD
Gonna miss doing the coverart, it was indeed a great experience, but since i haven't heard from them re. next year, I figure its a no-go.. but its cool.. think its important that other artists get exposure for their work
