So I saved this one for today, 9/11/2009 in remembrance of what happened on 9/11/2001.Please remember everyone that was lost on that day, and in the war following it by our service men, and women. Thank you all!

Kudos to you for including the links to all those tributes!
(I didn't do one this year. I have a great view of the tribute lights
that they shine in NYC, but for some reason I couldn't see them this year,
hence no photos.

Brilliant shot. When I went to DC for my 8th grade field trip, our hotel we were at gave us a gorgeous view, the Washington monument on our left and the capital on our right
