Now for something completely different. This is my friend 's character, Saint Cobra. Ha ha, I can't quite remember his origin story at the moment, but maybe she had a dream about him? And then I thought the idea of a cobra who was a saint was pretty funny (if completely ridiculous), so we kept joking about him. Saint Cobra preserve us!I don't have a lot of practice drawing snakes, and I can see all kinds of things I should have done differently, but this was just a fun sketch that I colored. Oh, he's not based on any particular type of cobra. I just wanted him to be green.

Saint Cobra did indeed appear to me in a dream! But this icon truly raises him to a legitimately Holy level! His expression of reflective adoration is outshone only by his GLEAMING HALO.

I thought he appeared to you in a dream! Well, that's just more proof of his holiness. Appearing in visions is all a part of a saint's job.
His fangs are truth, and his venom is love! He preserves us from harm and protects us from evil!
Of course, I couldn't resist adding in the pink flower. I am so glad you like this devotional art. I tried my best to do his saintliness justice.

I think that's a pretty good snake, myself. My boyfriend has a Murry-Darling python, and you got all the curves and the way he's holding his head up looking right. I can't comment much on the head (not a cobra expert
