Work in Progress-SketchA trio of Dryosaurus can feed in complete relaxation while Barosaurus are nearby. Β Careful predators keep a wide berth. New discoveries and phylogenetic assumptions assign huge cervical vertebra to Barosaurus that suggest an animal 2x the linear dimensions of typical Barosaurus lentus, c. 25m long and 12 tons. The big guy might have been 50 meters long and 80-100 tons.

You'd think that the eyes and nostrils of an animal this size would constantly be attacked by parasites and birds and small pterosaurs would flutter around the giant, eating the parasites and maybe even keep re-opening wounds to drink blood like many birds do today to hippos and elephants in Africa
