Chased this storm for well over 100 miles from Devil's Tower, WY to near Imogene, SD. Had a really nice ground-scraping look as I got to it initially west of Devil's Tower, though it quickly downcycled and shed most of its impressive lower-level inflow before I could set up for photos. Weakened as it went over Devil's Tower but then regained strength as it started to tap in to better moisture east of the Bear Lodge mountains in northeastern WY. This shot was taken later as I kept ahead of it on 212 northeast out of Newell, which was oriented just right to follow this storm. Lots of fun scenes on this solo chase including aerial views of a hail swath and unfortunately quite a bit of damage to the town of Newell. View the video here: June 28th, 2020 Supercell Chase

Thank you! It's one of the advantages to living on the high plains. Not near as many chasers to contend with. Just you, local ranchers, and a beastly supercell.
