For me, having foxes is an amazing experience, that I missed more then anything once my first fox passed away. But are definitely not an easy thing to care for. And yes, red (a red marble is just a mutation of a red fox in case you don't know) and arctic foxes are VERY stinky. Its very musky, similar to a skunk but not quite that strong. As far as the money goes it is quite a lot at first with having to buy the actual fox and all its startup needs and a super secure enclosure with a roof and solid flooring, this is a MUST have for a fox lol, they also eat a pretty pricy food such as Blue which is almost sixty bucks for a big bag of it. I've never had a fox live in the house (minus kits) and honestly, I have no clue how anyone could stand it due to the smell! It's probably a lot easier if the fox is litter trained, and I know your house would need to be fox proofed aka baby proofed XD

Thank you so much for the response! This really helps! This answered most of my questions. Do they really smell THAT strong though? cx

How do these AG classes work and how do you get a fox/bird/etc with? This sounds like a class I'd be willing to take. It seems to help start a business too.

Well I'm not the best at explaining how the class works but agriculture is the science and studies of food, farming, fiber, and the environment, so the classes cover that type of stuff. This year I'm taking an intro class that covers a bit of everything and after that theres other classes such as food science, conservation, equine science, animal science, business management, ect. So unless you live out in the country, its probably not a good class to take. And the foxes are nothing to do with the class itself, I bought them on my own terms. They are not a common animal used for ag. It was just something to help me out. But foxes you can buy from a breeder, same with birds.

Gorgeous <3 You're so lucky! When I was in Ag we had that option, too. I wanted to show a turkey. But parents said no. XD

I freaking love them! I actually so surprised my mom agreed to let me get them, she knows how much I loved my old fox and I took very good care of him so I think thats the main reason, minus for school....well that and I paid for them! XD And aw that sucks! Turkeys are freaking awesome, my cousins used to have one. Badass is probably a really weird word to use to describe a turkey but he was XD
