Fantastic pose. I can't believe how long it's been since you've posted this. How did you come up with this figure/pose? I love that you depict the body in a very expressionist way while maintaining a realistic shape/detail.

Thanks!
How did I come up with this; I always start with a simple visual goal and shoot off a bunch of iterations. This here was just another example of my tendency to use the page area like a box with a figure crammed in.
If I were to do this now, I'd draw his body line even closer to the edge and neaten up the leg's arrangement.

Well, art is more than a hobby I guess and I have been known to sell a thing or two. Yes, I still do what I can. I just don't bother to put work online anywhere anymore.

very expressive, this isn't my kind of art but the fact is I like the fact that this is what you like to draw and the pieces that make you, you. A Beautiful work is its something I see with some much emotion.

This is very interesting.
I like the feet a lot.
And I really like the hand on the head. It feels like an hallucination.

turmoil, pain, inner struggles and arguments, torn ideals. that is what this image brings to mind.
i love the crosshatching work. really adds to the tension.
